WINTER IN BERLIN

Feeling very fortunate to stay in that beautiful place in Berlin for two months. Totally in love with my new friend, this strange and kind piano, who tells me new music and stories…having a warm and wonderful winter!

DESEMBRE EP (SELF RELEASED)

Some piano songs recorded at home one day Desember 2012. I’ve printed with linoleum an edition of 25 copies and given to family and friends for Christmas.

Yesterday, in La Pedrera’s Auditorium the best audience and friends surrounded us. It was an amazing night to say goodbye to my album Magnòlia in Barcelona. As always, wonderful team and musicians accompanied me: Pau, Nico, Miguel, Kato and Aleix.
I enjoyed very much. A thousand thanks!

MY NEW PROJECT "CELESTA" REWARDED

Este año el Premio Puig-Porret ha cambiado y ya no se entrega al mejor artista de los Países Catalanes del último año. Ahora es un premio destinado a ayudar a financiar un proyecto musical arriesgado y diferente, que se estrenará como espectáculo en directo en el Mercat de Música Viva de Vic 2013,  y estoy muy contenta de ser la primera que lo recibe!

El proyecto que presenté se llama “Celesta” y lo haremos en colaboración con Metalúdic (el Taller de Escultura Sonora Baschet de la Facultad de Bellas Artes, que lleva Martí Ruids), y que tendrá un papel crucial en el trabajo constructivo.

Consiste en distintas partes. La composición de un concierto para un Piano-celesta Baschet, piano, voz, posiblemente más instrumentos Baschet y algún otro instrumento. Este piano-celesta Baschet aun no existe, se tiene que inventar, diseñar, construir, testar y modificar hasta conseguirlo. De forma que la composición irá en paralelo a la construcción. Buscamos la sonoridad parecida a una celesta pero será un instrumento nuevo y único! Finalmente, con esta composición gravaremos un disco y lo presentaremos en concierto!

Ahora lo que nos toca es ponernos a trabajar a fondo para poder estrenarlo en el Mercat de Música Viva de Vic 2013!

VIDEO PROJECTIONS IN SUPER8 FILM!

Preparing the video projections for a very special concert in Barcelona, on the 10th october, in La Pedrera’s Auditorium!!! These are three old Super8 projectors I’ve had in home these days. Finally one of them is working!

MAGNÒLIA'S VINYL EDITION IS OUT!

We are very happy to say that Magnòlia's vinyl edition is out! You can find it in my concerts and very soon in the music stores.
